Xi’an is also the starting point of the Silk Road and was once an important hub for cultural exchanges between the East and the West. In addition to historical relics, Xi’an also attracts countless tourists with its food culture and traditional folk customs. Overall, Xi’an is a city that combines ancient and modern charm, full of unique historical heritage and cultural atmosphere.

Travel Itinerary
Meet at the hotel lobby and drive to the Terracotta Warriors
Your guide will contact you one day before departure and inform you of the exact meeting time and location. You will be driven to the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Lintong District by private car or van.
The highlights of the museum are the three pits (Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3) displaying the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Bronze Chariot Exhibition. Pit 1 is the largest and most impressive pit, displaying about 2,000 terracotta warriors. Pit 2 unveils the mystery of the ancient army formations. Pit 3 represents the command post.
Our itinerary also includes the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Site Park, which houses the Terracotta Warriors Museum, the Terracotta Warriors Museum, the Stone Armor Museum and the Bronze Chariot Museum. This park near the Terracotta Warriors is also a great place to visit.

Drive to a carefully selected local restaurant. Your guide will be happy to introduce you to any dishes that suit your needs. Have a cup of tea and take a break. Get ready for the afternoon activities.
It is said that a trip to Xi’an is not complete without a visit to the ancient city wall that has been guarding the inner city since the 13th century. The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete urban defense systems in China. If the weather is good, a bicycle tour will be included in the tour and you will enjoy the beautiful views of the city.
End of a pleasant trip to Xi’an, return with full of memories and wonderful experiences, you will be transferred to airport to take a flight back home or to your next destination in China.

- The tour guide may adjust the itinerary due to closure of the museums each Monday.
- At the conclusion of the tour, a transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge.
