As one of the four ancient capitals of China, Xi’an was the capital of thirteen dynasties and has hosted countless important events and cultural exchanges in history. The city is rich in historical relics, such as the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which show the splendor of ancient civilization. Xi’an is also the starting point of the Silk Road and was once an important hub for cultural exchanges between the East and the West. In addition to historical relics, Xi’an also attracts countless tourists with its food culture and traditional folk customs. Overall, Xi’an is a city that combines ancient and modern charm, full of unique historical heritage and cultural atmosphere.
This package includes accommodation in a top four-star or five-star hotel, daily breakfast, an English-speaking local guide, all transportation services, and customized experience options. This is an ideal introduction to China for first-time travelers brought to you by Hello China Trip.
Travel Itinerary
Once you arrive in Xi’an (preferably before 11:00), your guide will meet you at the airport or train station and take you to explore parts of the 13.75 km Xi’an City Wall that surrounds the old city, the best-preserved ancient fortification in China. Stroll along the walkways to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings and learn about the importance of this defense system for the prosperous trade along the legendary Silk Road. The Shaanxi History Museum houses a large collection of artifacts from prehistory to relatively recent times, and the artifacts on display constitute the rich cultural heritage of Shaanxi. Afterwards, you may have the opportunity to go to the top of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most important Buddhist pagodas in Xi’an, where you can observe 1,400 years of Xi’an’s history. Locals can be seen strolling quietly in the temple, going about their daily activities. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your booked hotel.

Note: Due to the Shaanxi History Museum being closed on Mondays, the tour schedule may be adjusted.
The highlight of today’s tour is the world-famous Terracotta Army, dating back to 210 BC. The scale and detail of the thousands of terracotta warriors, horses and chariots arranged in battle formations guarding the underground mausoleum of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, to protect his resting place in the afterlife is amazing.
End of a pleasant trip to Xi’an, return with full of memories and wonderful experiences, you will be transferred to airport to take a flight back home or to your next destination in China.

- Entering and exiting China from Hong Kong and Taipei are also available.
- Stays at entering and exiting cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei) can be extended.

- This is a small group tour with a fixed itinerary and guaranteed departures.
You will travel with other people (maximum of 12). - Smart casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- The tour guide may adjust the itinerary due to closure of the museums each Monday.
- At the conclusion of the tour, a transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge.
- Stays at entering and exiting cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei) can be extended.
